Eclipse Systems: Mantle Vault, Eight-Boss Worldcore, Prey Agony
The What’s Next panel adds Eclipse’s zone, dungeon, lair, Prey Agony, Radiant Screams, three Paladin races, and housing Showcase — still no go-live week.
Yesterday’s Eclipse name lock was the trailer. The What’s Next panel is the systems list. Patch 12.2 is still Midnight’s last major content update. Still no go-live week. Season 3 starts shortly after, not on the same undocumented Tuesday.
Zone and outdoor
The Mantle Vault is the new underground zone — Titan vaults, stone and azerite wildlife, and a stand with the Thraegar, a crystalline dwarflike people. A separate underground faction, the Deepskar Empire, groups kobolds, troggs, drogbar, and niffen who do not want company.
Radiant Screams is the new outdoor call in the vault, tied to the Worldsoul’s outcries. Flexible-group event, not a raid lock.
The Gearhold is the new Lair. Noctinaxx, an azerite bat, is on World, Normal, Heroic, and flexible Mythic.
Dungeon and raid
Thraegar’s Stand is a three-boss dungeon: excavation pair Cragcleaver and Foreman Sullk, azerite elemental Monokk, and titan construct Stenvarg the Inevitable. It is in the Season 3 Mythic+ pool.
The Worldcore is now an eight-boss raid — void, Titan constructs, living azerite, and Xal’atath. Midnight’s Edge still starts after you finish that raid. Do not rewrite the legendary from this post.
Prey, Paladins, housing
Eclipse Prey moves into the Mantle Vault with new Prey, new Torments, and Agony Mode as the last difficulty.
Forsaken, Night Elf, and Troll characters can be Paladins. That is the retail unlock. Forever’s Undead Paladins are a different product.
Housing gets Showcase (featured homes plus a snapshot when you submit), mannequins for unlocked appearances, copy-paste and multi-select décor, and the ability to buy extra copies of décor you already own from inside the house. Four new endeavors land with the patch, including Stormriders of the Isle of Dorn.
Later extras
Calibration Chamber is a party/raid dummy room with cooldown resets and raid buffs. PvP gets a new Journey track — no reward list yet. Cross-armor transmog is called for 12.2.5, not Eclipse itself.
12.1.5 is still the next live drop. Talebound is the Echoes of the Worldcore mode in between.
