Warcraft Forever Announced: Classic+ Launches November 4
BlizzCon unveils World of Warcraft Forever — a level-60 Classic+ path with new zones, 10- and 20-player raids, Skyborne, Undead Paladins, and a beta this Thursday.
Blizzard’s Classic+ reveal has a name and a date. World of Warcraft: Forever launches November 4, with a beta starting Thursday, September 17. It is a separate level-60 path, not a Midnight patch.
What they showed
Forever is built to keep expanding the old-world cap horizontally — new places and raids, not a level bump. The announcement list:
- New dungeons
- 10- and 20-player raids
- Skyborne playable race
- New and expanded zones
- Account-wide perks
- Updated world visuals and lighting
- New race and class combinations
- 1,000+ new quests
The launch trailer also puts Undead Paladins on the board. That combo is Forever’s, not a retail 12.2 unlock.
Timing
Beta this Thursday. Live November 4. Retail players still have Winds of Mysterious Fortune through September 22 and Midnight: Eclipse as the next named Season 3 patch — different product, different calendar.
