RWF: Echo Leads Coiled Altar After First Phase 3 Looks
Liquid spends the NA night into Phase 3 on Mythic Coiled Altar; Blizzard nerfs the fight mid-session; Echo logs in and jumps to 92.2% P3 for first place.
The EU shield-break session is outdated. Mythic Coiled Altar has a Phase 3 now — Liquid saw it overnight, Echo saw it this morning, and Echo is first at 6/8. No World First. Ula’tek stays locked.
Method ends EU ahead, then Liquid takes the night
Echo’s evening best was 46.4% P2. Method kept going and closed the EU day on an enrage: 27.1% P2 on pull 116, then tried four-healing Phase 1.
Liquid logged in to Nymrissa splits, then the altar. The remaining-HP collapses stacked:
- Pull 61: 65.5% P2 (the overnight hold from yesterday)
- Pull 86: 41.8% P2 — back into first
- Pull 87: 29.9% P2
- Pull 104: 18.4% P2, second Eternal Nightfall shield broken, first look at the enrage — Malacrass casts raid-wide Dreadmarch, mind-controls the raid, fight resets
Mid-night Mythic nerfs
Around 04:16 BST, Method’s desk called a live Mythic pass that is not in the published August 27 hotfix list:
- Veil of Twilight shield −20%
- Malacrass Phase 3 bonus health 35% → 19%
- Zul’jan Phase 3 bonus health 160% → 156%
- Spiteful Soulcoiler health down; Mass Dreadmarch less often
Liquid was already past 100 pulls. EU was still asleep.
Phase 3, then Echo steals the board
Late NA, Liquid converted the enrage look into Phase 3 — Method’s live board has them at 94.7% P3 (Raider.IO 94.1% P3, 147 pulls, last ~06:53 UTC). Percentages are remaining boss health — lower is better. High P3 remaining means they just got there.
EU logged into the nerfed fight. Method’s second morning pull was 23.8% P2 (135 pulls on Raider.IO). Echo went 33.1% P2, then a jump into Phase 3: Method live 92.2% P3, Raider.IO 91.4% P3 on pull 82 (06:24 UTC). That is first place.
Average item level on Method’s comparison board: Echo 320.4, Method 320.3, Liquid 319.6.
The 5/8 pack
Project took World 4th Mythic Sszorak after 23 pulls (21:08 UTC Aug 27) — the kill DMG almost had at 0.4%. Overnight NA filled the rest of 5/8: Infinity World 5th / NA 2nd (16 pulls), Instant Dollars World 6th, Consequence World 7th and gn World 8th seconds apart, Identity also through. Instant Dollars (23.1%), Infinity (45.4%), and Consequence (65.6%) are on Twin Fangs. DMG is still 4/8, 0.42% remaining on Sszorak.
