Echo World Firsts Mythic Twin Fangs — Race Hits 6/8
Echo downs Mythic Twin Fangs in 19 pulls to take first place at 6/8; Method converts a 0.72% wipe into World 2nd as Liquid sits at 8% on the same fight.
Echo just stole the mid-raid gate: World First Mythic Twin Fangs on pull 19, jumping to 6/8 and first place in the Venomous Abyss Race to World First.
The kill
Method’s live desk called it a clean close that still came down to the last ticks of boss damage. Echo had only been on the fight for a few hours after World 3rd Mythic Sszorak and a one-shot Vashnik reclear. The opener was already a statement — first pull to 24.1% remaining — then they chipped into execute:
- Pull 5: 16.2%
- Pull 15: one head dead, wipe on the second at 4.52%
- Pull 19: World First
The two-head (Vexhul / Ithraz) check punishes staggered kills. Coverage kept stressing that both heads have to die together, or the survivor ramps and the pull dies in execute.
Method answers in under an hour
Method had the scariest wipe of the race minutes earlier: 0.72% remaining. They converted it. Live coverage posted World 2nd Twin Fangs after 55 pulls at 20:01 BST — about 45 minutes after Echo’s kill (Raider.IO timestamps 18:12 UTC for Echo, 18:57 UTC for Method).
That puts two EU guilds at 6/8. Echo is first into The Coiled Altar; Method is moving on too.

Liquid opened Twin Fangs this morning and called it around 44% before the EU reset session; they logged back in as Echo and Method were already in execute. Eight percent with a fresh raid day is still a kill window — just no longer a World First window.
What’s next
Coiled Altar is the first look at the back half, then Ula’tek. Echo owns the first map control past Twin Fangs; Method is a lock behind them; Liquid has the longer remaining clock tonight.
