Liquid World Firsts Mythic Coiled Altar — Race Hits 7/8

The back-half gate is down. Liquid killed Mythic Coiled Altar after 310 pulls — World First, first place at 7/8, and the first look at Ula’tek. Raider.IO timestamps the combat log 04:48 UTC. Method’s desk called it at 05:50 BST.

Yesterday evening’s Echo 3.58% Phase 3 hold is no longer first place. No end-boss kill. Liquid went dark on Ula’tek as soon as the altar dropped.

From 18.8% to a kill window

Liquid logged in still sitting on this morning’s 18.8% P3 lead. They committed Vantus Runes, stayed on five healers, and spent the NA night turning execute looks into a kill:

• Early: past both Eternal Nightfall and both Grim Guillotines — Zul’jan 7.7% / Malacrass 27.3%
• Coverage’s read later: they started ignoring late-fight mechanics and trying to burn both bosses before orb rot ended the pull. New best 4.92% P3 — Zul’jan 3%, Malacrass 11%
• Pull 282: 2.46% P3 — first on the remaining-HP board
• Pull 284: 1.61% P3
• Pull 288: 0.93% P3 — the bosses reset to mind controls

Four pulls after that 0.93% wipe, they converted. Method’s comparison board has Liquid at 320.1 ilvl and 296 logged pulls; the live desk used 310.

Ula’tek unlocks — then silence

The kill opens the last room. Method: Liquid went dark for Ula’tek attempts immediately. Raider.IO shows the encounter pulled and not defeated — no remaining-HP look yet.

Echo and Method both logged Vantus on the altar this morning. Coverage’s read: both sides expect the race to run into the September 1 reset.

EU logs back in

Echo woke up after the kill and went straight back into Phase 3 — first Eternal Nightfall on pull one with two players already dead, then back-to-back P3 sends. Live remaining is still last night’s 3.58% P3 (221 pulls, 321.1 ilvl). World 2nd is the job today.

Method hit Phase 3 inside their first two pulls. Live remaining still 23.7% P3 (~319 pulls). They are the deepest guild still without a kill.
