Hotfixes September 2: Mythic Ula’tek Soul Constrictor and Blight Vein

September 2 is the first published hotfix list since September 1. No class-tuning wave — that already landed with reset. The beat is Mythic Ula’tek numbers that went live at the start of Liquid’s NA night.

Ula’tek (Mythic)

Player-facing for the Race to World First:

• Soul Constrictor duration reduced to 5 seconds on Mythic (was 6)
• Blight Vein damage −25% on Mythic

Wowhead’s read: snapping a four-set of tethers was ticking for about 1.2M every 2 seconds across the old six-second window. The shorter aura plus the Blight Vein cut is meant to make Phase 2 surviveable instead of a one-shot on 850k–900k health pools.

Two egg bugs on the same boss, not a health cut: a Doomscale Egg can no longer be looted after the Ravenous Doomscale spawns while the Doomscale Warden is alive, and picking up one egg can no longer trigger twice.

Classes and items

• Feral — Apex Talent Unseen Predator (Rank 1) now prefers targets that are not immune, or that are taking less than 5% physical damage
• Destruction — Font of Venomous Rage no longer cancels immediately if you spell-queue the channel after Cataclysm
• Warrior — Bladestorm shows as an important aura on nameplates

Catalyst — leftover Great Vault items that would not convert now do. Some non-armor pieces that looked convertible are no longer offered; relog if a character still sees the old prompt.

PvP

Faerie Swarm is a large raid-frame debuff again. Evoker staves are back on the PvP gear vendor. Preservation Rewind no longer fails to reverse damage if the Evoker is in Cyclone.
