Hotfixes September 1: Mythic Altar Venom Cuts, Twin Fangs Eternal Venom
The September 1 hotfix blog publishes the raid numbers that landed with reset — Mythic Coalesced Venom −15%, Venom Rupture −10%, Twin Fangs Eternal Venom to 10 stacks — plus Raid Finder health cuts.
September 1 is the first published hotfix list since August 31. The scheduled class pass is in the same blog; the new beat is raid numbers that were not in that August 31 post — Mythic altar venom, Twin Fangs Eternal Venom, and a Raid Finder health trim for Wing 3.
Coiled Altar (Mythic)
The altar finally has official Mythic damage cuts, not just the August 31 Defilement absorb:
- Coalesced Venom damage −15% on Mythic
- Venom Rupture damage −10% on Mythic
Smaller groups on lower difficulties also get help: Venom Rupture −15% (Heroic), Volatile Venom −15% (RF / Normal / Heroic), Zul’jan health −10%, Guillotine / Grim Guillotine failure now needs only 3 players hit (RF / Normal / Heroic).
Twin Fangs (Mythic)
Eternal Venom on Mythic is the player-facing two-head change:
- Applications before the target dies raised to 10
- Immunities no longer block extra stacks past the death threshold
- Ravenous Feast minimum targets raised to 4
Raid Finder: Vexhul and Ithraz health −20%, Eternal Venom max-health damage 50%. Protection Paladin Mastery now works against Caustic Deluge and Eternal Venom.
Raid Finder and smaller groups
With RF Wing 3 live, the Finder pass is the one most players will feel this week:
- Nek’zali health −15% on Raid Finder
- Entombed Sentinels adds (Breath / Blood of Ula’tek) health −15% on Raid Finder
- Sszorak health −10% for smaller groups on Normal and Heroic; fewer Raging Crosswinds targets
Nymrissa (Tidebound Grotto) — Frost Orb duration 16s → 12s, with damage cuts that scale down for smaller groups.
Ula’tek and odds and ends
Two last-boss clean-ups, not a health cut: killing a Blightscale Wretch outside its Toxic Womb no longer submerges the Spectral Head, and the Revenge impact animation no longer shoves nameplates off interrupts.
Elsewhere: Delves trinkets drop less often. Midnight World Quests grant Adventurer Crests again. Er’iyne’s Satchel of Corrosive Coins is no longer unique. The Farseer Natural Harmony 20%→10% Nature’s Guardian bug is in this list too — already noted in the reset-live post.
