Hotfixes August 18: Season 2 Launch Tuning and Dungeon Pass
Launch-day hotfixes ship the full class tuning pass, daily Mythic 0 lockouts, Venomous Abyss dungeon nerfs, dual-wield raid weapons, and PvP trinket set buffs.
Season 2 maintenance brought a huge August 18 hotfix batch — class balance, dungeon tuning, items, Delves, and PvP all moved together with the unlock.
Classes (summary)
The Linxy / August 18 tuning plan is live, including:
- Arcane set nerfs + small baseline bump
- Discipline damage −30% with Atonement compensation
- Devourer 4pc cut + baseline bump
- Buffs for Resto Druid, Mistweaver, Holy Oracle, BM, Demo, Fury, and more
Elemental also got a 5% damage bump after a Venomous Abyss 4pc Maelstrom bug was fixed. Retribution PvE damage is up 6%.
Dungeons and raid systems
- Season 2 Mythic dungeon lockouts now reset daily
- Wide pass across the M+ pool — lower count in Murder Row, Sethraliss Avatar healing changes, Ruby Life Pools ember / Kyrakka tweaks, Blinding Vale damage cuts, Altar of Fangs entrance shortcut, and more
- Delve fixes for Ring of Glory, Mislaid Curiosities, and quest blockers
Items and PvP
- Zatha’tek, Breath of Corruption and Aman’muso, Warlord’s Vengeance briefly allowed either weapon slot (Aman’muso was walked back to main-hand-only on August 19)
- Non-healer PvP trinket set primary stat 15% → 20% to speed up rated games
- Training Grounds and Sparks of War quest credit fixes
