Curse Surges Now Spawn Every 30 Minutes
A live hotfix cuts the Coiled Isle Curse Surge timer from 45 minutes to 30 — faster weekly Turn Back the Surge clears, and a shorter Cursebreaker grind.
Curse Surges on the Coiled Isle now spawn every 30 minutes. That is down from 45. The change is already on live NA realms after today’s restart; it is not in a new dated hotfix blog heading yet.
What it changes
The weekly Turn Back the Surge quest needed two events. At the old timer that was a 90-minute wait if you sat in one camp. The same two clears now fit in an hour of spawn cadence, plus travel.
Cursebreaker (the title) already dropped from 300 Surges to 150 shortly after patch 12.1 went live. A 30-minute slot does not delete that grind, but it is a third less idle time than the 45-minute loop.
Surges still rotate across the five isle camps, still unlock Cursed Fishing after the rare dies, and still feed Zul’jarra / Tokka outdoor tracks. This hotfix is the spawn interval only.
