Follow the Snakes: Coiled Isle Overview
Blizzard’s zone preview for patch 12.1 covers Vaults of Atal’Utek, Curse Surges, the Altar of Corrosion, Renown, and cursed fishing.
Blizzard published a full overview of the Coiled Isle, the new outdoor zone arriving with Curse of Ula’tek on August 11. The island sits off Zul’Aman as Zul’jarra pursues Zul’jan through venomous, Amani-haunted territory.
What you’ll do there
- Vaults of Atal’Utek — unlock via “Into the Vaults of Atal’Utek,” then run Temple Patrols, Strikes, Incursions, and Ancient Foe fights for Corrosive Souls, fragments, coins, and Renown
- Altar of Corrosion — a zone talent tree powered by Corrosive Coins for combat, exploration, and Vault multipliers
- Curse Surges — rotating rare elites that open Cursed Fishing spots when defeated
- Cursed Fishing — a Tokka’s Landing storyline with corrupted waters, artifacts, and a voyage against Nageressies, the Great White Serpent
- Zul’jarra’s Forces Renown — rewards for progressing the isle’s faction track
