Curse of Ula'tek Goes Live August 11
Patch 12.1 opens the Coiled Isle, continues the Midnight campaign, and sets up Season 2 with a new dungeon, Delves, Lairs, and more.
Blizzard’s Curse of Ula’tek content update (patch 12.1) goes live on August 11, 2026 after weekly maintenance, sending players to the Coiled Isle east of Zul’Aman.
What’s new
- The Midnight campaign continues as Zul’jarra pursues Zul’jan across the fog-shrouded isle
- New outdoor zone: the Coiled Isle, with Vaults of Atal’Utek, public events, Curse Surges, and Cursed Fishing
- New three-boss dungeon: Altar of Fangs (available up to Mythic 0 at patch launch)
- Three new Delves, including the Venomfall Deeps Nemesis Delve
- Lairs — instanced world-boss encounters with flexible scaling
- Housing blueprint export/import, pet beds, Cooldown Manager and ping updates, and class tuning
Season timing
Midnight Season 2 — including the Venomous Abyss raid, Mythic+, and PvP Season 2 — begins one week later on August 18.
