Kaivax: Missing Spark of Tides Cleanup Started With Reset
Weekly maintenance granted missing Spark of Tides; further waves this week may pull extras from characters who were accidentally over the cap.
Kaivax posted a short Spark of Tides status after NA weekly maintenance — the first official word on the week-one “dust says 4/4, bag says 2” mess.
What Blizzard did
- Issues that left players missing Spark of Tides were addressed in this morning’s scheduled maintenance.
- More cleanup waves continue through the week.
- Rare cases where characters were accidentally granted Sparks over the cap may see some removed.
That’s a two-sided fix: grant the sparks people earned, then claw back extras that slipped past the four-Spark cap.
What to check
Log in and compare Spark of Tides in bags/bank versus Tidal Spark Dust on the currency tab. If you were stuck at a false cap, you should be able to loot or craft again after the grant. If you somehow sat over the seasonal maximum, expect a later pass to trim the overflow — don’t spend a spark you never should have had if you’re trying to stay clean for the audit.
