Hotfixes August 26: Ula’tek Targeting, Catalyze, and Vault Fixes
Mid-week bugfixes repair Mother’s Wrath targeting on Ula’tek, let Coiled Altar and Ula’tek vault gear catalyze, and restore Season 2 sockets and Mistcrests.
August 26 is a clean-up pass, not another class-tuning wave. The Aug 25 reset package already shipped the numbers; this list is bugs that were still eating loot and raid pulls.
Venomous Abyss
- Ula’tek — Mother’s Wrath could miss its tank target and dump raid-wide damage even when the tank was in the bubble. That’s closed.
- Duplicate Doomscale Shell applications are no longer stacking when they shouldn’t.
- Lost Explorers — Evoker Cauterizing Flame now clears Splinters.
- Story Mode dungeon followers path correctly when Dungeon Assistance is on.
Items and Vault
The player-facing one: raid armor from The Coiled Altar and Ula’tek can be catalyzed again when it came from the Great Vault or a Voidcore roll. Existing stuck pieces should work now.
Also:
- A Silvermoon Splendor Vault offer still converts to a Nebulous Voidcore if you pick it
- Some Season 2 items can take a socket again
- Max-Renown Overflowing caches grant Veteran Mistcrests in Season 2
Classes, Delves, PvP
Smaller live bugs: Devourer Demon Hunter 2-piece (Soulburst) display, Protection Paladin Avenger’s Shield / Glory of the Vanguard with Divine Resonance, Holy Priest Divine Hymn putting Guardian Spirit on a 60-second cooldown with Guardian Angel, Elemental Farseer Maelstrom Supremacy not buffing Healing Surge, and Warrior Sudden Death inflating cooldowns.
Delves: Infiltrator Garand Undergraduates spawn in the right places; Gnok no longer casts Ejecting Decay on the move, and Upheaval ignores pets. Training Grounds: Arena now ends when the NPC side surrenders.
